Maya Myth
When asked to create a model that we felt represented the "myth of the American dream" a number of things came to mind for me: a covered wagon, a muscle car, baseball, weapons, and the old west. Eventually I came upon the American-Soviet space race. The event was huge in the lives of nearly everyone in the United States and helped to shape, form, and contextualize the lives and dreams of the American people. I chose to model the Saturn V rocket as it was the primary image of the space race from the American side. It was created in Maya 8.5.
