Experimental Video

Video is not something that I often make use of in my projects. Here I tried to create a continuous space out of architecture, through presentation, that is not continious. This is an attempt to play with the methods of cutting and editing by film directors when they try to create continious space out of disjointed movie sets. I also played with the principles of time by making it clear that the events were not recorded in a continious manner and, much like more professional films, are recorded out of order and simply pieced together in a logical pattern. What I was attempting to do was create a space presented as continious that is presented as moving forward in time but is obviously neither continious or moving logically forward in time. The video is actually two videos combined into one which each explore a different method of manipulating forward progression through cutting/editing. Through this editing and cutting process the first half creates a continious space and the second is half creates a dialogue by manipulating the passage of time.
